What the PDF looks like
- Each image is placed on its own page at full resolution, so nothing is cropped or blurred.
- HEIC photos straight from an iPhone work directly – there's no need to convert them to JPG first.
- Want to rearrange or delete pages of an existing PDF instead? Use the Reorder PDF Pages tool.
About HEIC and PDF
- HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the format iPhones and iPads save photos in by default. It stores a photo in roughly half the space of a JPG at similar quality, but many Windows PCs, websites, upload forms and older apps can't open it.
- PDF keeps pages looking identical on every device and printer, which is why application forms, schools, landlords and print shops ask for documents as PDF.
Tips for Windows PC
- Windows only shows HEIC photos if the HEIF Image Extensions (and sometimes HEVC Video Extensions) are installed from the Microsoft Store. Converting to JPG means anyone can open them.
- Nothing to install, so it works on work and school PCs where you can't add software.
Frequently asked questions
Can I put several HEIC images in one PDF?
Yes. Add as many as you like – each becomes a page, in the order shown. Use the arrows to reorder them before you download.
Is there a page or file size limit?
No set limit. Very large batches just take longer, because your own device builds the PDF.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs in your browser using your device's own processor, so your images never leave your device. You can even disconnect from the internet once the page has loaded.
Where does the converted file go on my Windows PC?
Click Download. The file goes to your Downloads folder (File Explorer › Downloads).
